The multichannel audio interface (multichannel microphone preamplifier / mixer with backup recording and broadcasting) “SRS Femida Audio Interface 8USB-IP” is designed to connect dynamic or condenser microphones as well as sources of line level signal to PC via multichannel USB audio board which is built into the device and to make a backup of audio and video recording and broadcast audio and video signal by IP networks.
This device is a multichannel amplifier with low noise level which allows recording of microphones and/or sources of line level signal (up to eight sources) via eight independent channels on PC and via one combined channel in the device.
Main Functions and Usage
This multichannel audio interface is used:
•To amplify signals received from microphones;
•To output the multichannel audio in digital form via USB interface;
•To supply phantom power for condenser microphones;
•To indicate phantom power;
•To digitally control the level and frequency of each input;
•To indicate the level of mixed signal;
•To mix all inputs for public address systems or video conference systems;
•To broadcast audio and video signal via IP networks (up to five clients can access the broadcasting);
•To stream audio and video for Internet Broadcasting Systems;
•To connect additional devices (foot pedal, flash drive etc.) to the built-in USB hub;
•Compatible with software-based videoconferencing systems (feedback suppression);
•Stand-alone back-up audio and video recording to a built-in non-removable storage up to 32 GB (optional);
